Code of Conduct

We're committed to providing a friendly, welcoming and harassment-free environment for all attendees, including teachers and organizers, regardless of gender, race, sexuality, trans status, disability, ethnicity, immigration status or religion.

We believe having a Code of Conduct helps us do that by setting clear standards for behavior and letting attendees know that we're committed to creating a respectful space.

Harassment and unacceptable behavior

Harassment includes, but is not limited to: deliberate intimidation; stalking; unwanted photography or recording; sustained or willful disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; use of sexual or discriminatory imagery, comments, or jokes; and unwelcome sexual attention.

If you feel that someone has harassed you or otherwise treated you inappropriately, please alert any of the organizers in person or via email.

If you notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify an organizer as soon as possible.

Consequences for unacceptable behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by trachers, attendees or organizers. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If someone engages in unacceptable behavior, the organizers may take any action we deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the event without a refund.
